Before there were days or seasons, there was darkness. The trickster, Coyote, was a bad hunter but a good storyteller. Coyote told Eagle about a powerful people, who had a magic box of light. With this box, hunting would be a breeze! Together they stole this box, only for Coyote to insist on carrying it. Curious about the light, Coyote opens the box, accidentally releasing the sun and moon into the sky.
