The book

The primary project I worked on was a fabric book, full of images based on my time there. The cover is made from the Icelandair blanket I received on the plane, with the inner pages made from backing of an old table runner. All blue, green and purple paint in the book are made from wild blueberries, with ink for detail and a whole lot of hand sewing for assembly. The motifs and materials are inspired by the trip, as was the mentality of mending, foraging and reusing everything possible.
